Back again..

So, it's been like another two months since my last post. I thought that it was time that I do another. Actually, there have been a few times when I wrote up almost an entire post here, then I decided to delete it and didn't publish it at all. Why? I have no idea. To tell you the truth, I don't even have much to say. There aren't many people that read this thing. There probably are only about three, although I might add that they are scattered all around the world (Virigina, Paris, and.. Aberdeen.)

I haven't really been up to much as of late. I am eagerly awaiting my going to college in August. It is going to be so awesome, and I am just ready to get out of here. Not much goes on in Bel Air, expecially when you want so bad to leave. That is not to say that Bel Air isn't great, because I do like it. It's just, I am so restless and want to start the new chapter of my life. New York is hopefully going to be amazing, so I am anticipating good things.

I've quit Five Guys. The grease, rude customers, and other crap was enough. I didn't want to be there anymore. Plus, now all of my stupid jeans (yeah, they have a low IQ) smell like grease. I don't know how to remove that grease smell from them, though I've already tried a variety of things to no success. Once again, I just want to make it clear that when I go to college, I'll probably update this frequenty.

Remember our awesome social networking? I've gone through Xanga, MySpace, Facebook, this. Out of all, I like Facebook the best. It's funny reading my xanga though, because I started it back in eighth grade. That was a few years ago! It's fun to go back and read all my old posts. I thought I was so cool because I was entering high school, and now I can't wait to leave. There was a time that I actually did enjoy being there, but that all went down the hill. I'm apathetic now, it's just such a drag. I'll be happy to never (or hardly) return. I'm sure I'll want to go to the reunion though, when I am rich and happy.

So, if you want to check out this awesome musical theatre composing duo, check out www.kerrigan-lowdermilk.com and listen to some of their music. It's great, and I have no doubt that they're going to be an easily recognizable name in a few years. How that haven't achieved a greater fanbase is beyond me.

Ho hum, there isn't much more to say at the moment. I'll try to post more.

He's back!

Boom! Here I am!
So, it's been two months since my last update. You know, we could just pretend like the month of February never happened. Then, it wouldn't look like I waited so long to update again. I don't know why I didn't update, I guess I just didn't feel like it. Get off my back. Speaking of backs, people with hunchbacks are usually scary.

So, I'd like to take a moment to talk about something that's been on my mind. That something is the restaurant business. It's terrible. Restaurants seem to be an excuse for people to throw all of the common courtesy that they once had out the window. It's as if people turn into animals, or just get all of the morals sucked out of them when they enter a restaurant.

I work at Five Guys, and people are idiots. I hate when people decide that it's alright to come in at 9:50 and sit in the lobby until 10:30 so we cannot close. Man, they suck. Also, there is a bright red bin on the counter that is clearly labeled STRAW TRASH, yet, this miscreants leave their trash like, RIGHT NEXT TO IT. Or even on the floor in front of it! Come on, how fricken hard is it? People like that deserve to hunt with Dick Cheney. (By the way, I'm a fan.) Oh, and you have no idea how happy it makes me when I find that people have left their peanut shells all over their table with their dirty napkins and trash. What, you are too lazy to throw it away? Idiots. It's people like that make the world a lously place, they are probably the reason for global warming.

So, I promise that I will update this when I go to college all the time, because I am sure that I'll have a lot to say. I'll be going to PACE UNIVERSITY in NEW YORK CITY! Woo! Yes, I've decided that this is definetly where I'm going. I've just about sent the papers in, and now I have to go get shots. I'm not happy about they, cause they is scary. I'll be going for Musical Theatre if I should make it into the program, and political science if I should not. Either way, it'll be fun. Woof yo, I'm a be a dog. You feel me, dawg?

So, there have been two albums on constant rotation on my iPod. Number one being:

Once! This album is amazing. It's from the movie, and it's just got such great songs. Infact, the actors/songwriters Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won the Oscar for best song, "Falling Slowly," and it really did deserve its win. I got tickets to see them at Radio City Music Hall in NYC on March 19th, so I really can't wait for that. You really should check it out, not only is it one of the best movies of 2007, the music is just really real, personal, amazing, and Irish. Irish music is totally some of the best music out there, I love that distinct sound. Incase you felt like listening to Falling Slowly, here it is...

Number 2: Lord of the Rings the Original London Cast Recording. Wow, this is really really good. I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings, but I was skeptical as to how it would sound as a musical. The music is very Irishy, very Pirate Queen, and very.. I don't know. See, it's just so unique, but so good. The score really is amazing. I was completely floored listening to this, the music is just so pure and refreshing. Please, give it a listen if you get a chance and let me know what you think of it. Here is the song called "Roads Go On."
Well everyone, that is enough for me. You'll be hearing again from me soon, that is, if I am not captured by rabid diseased clowns, which is what happened last time. Seriously, you don't want to mess with those guys.
Take care now everyone, and thanks for reading. By the way, Corinne you rock.

Here I am again!

Well, here I am again. I was thinking today of whether I should actually blog or not, if it would be too soon. Obviously, I decided that I should blog.

So, I was playing The Oregon Trail just a few minutes ago. Does anyone remember playing that game as a kid? I have the say, it is one of the most fun games that I can recall. I found that my recent experience was not as fun as I remember, and I was shocked because like five minutes into the game, Corinne died. We tried to forward the river, and my stupid oxen drowned, so Corinne drowned too. I felt like there was no point of us living after that, so I immediately stopped feeding the party and set us on a grueling pace. When everyone else died besides me, I fed myself again and drove at a pleasant pace, making it to Oregon by myself. So, a little note to everyone, don't travel the Oregon Trail with me or you will die.

Anyone up for a road trip?

Speaking of trips, I am really excited for senior week. A couple friends and myself are going to New York City, so it's not your typical Ocean City thing. We've reserved two rooms at the Belleclaire Hotel on 77(?)th street. It's somewhere around Central Park, and a little while away from the theatre district. Obviously we are going to have to take the subway, which I know absolutely nothing about. I guess there is always a time to learn! I just hope that if someone is abducted while we are riding that it isn't me. They should take one of the skinner people, although I am sure that I would be a good meal for any cannibal out there.

Hey there! Are you a cannibal? Are you looking for a man to eat alive, and then make ashtrays and other household items out of his bones? Well look no further! Brandon is a ravishing young gentlemen, and at the low price of one million easy payments of $149,999.99 you could be drinking his blood today! Cash only, credit and debit not accepted. Call 1-800-EAT-FAT today!

I'm kidding by the way, I don't want to really be eaten.

Yeah, looking forward to New York. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do, please let me know. We are looking for touristy things, but also like trendy awesome New York stuff that no tourists know about. We want to hit up the Upper East Side, we are staying in the Upper West Side, we want to go to Greenwich Village, Soho (maybe? Is it worth it?) and Chinatown. If there are any cool places, tell me!

Speaking of New York, I really hope that I get accepted into schools there. It would be fun to live in New York for four years and amassing huge amounts of debt. Woah, maybe I'll even have to sell a kidney just to pay for my dorm! Wouldn't that be AWESOME!?

Anyway, I am done here for today. I hope you enjoyed yourself, you may have even wet yourself a little (Doug I am talking to you), but have fantastic day.

My First Blogging

I must say, this is the first time that I've had an official blog. I've had a xanga, but I don't post there anymore. Plus, that really was just some random rumblings or whatever that went on in my life. I figure that with the New Year, maybe I should actually start a blog. So, that is what I hope to do here. If delving into my impressive mind frightens you, then I would advise you closing this page now. Actually, please don't. I need as many readers as I can get.

So, I'll be going off to college soon. Yesterday I completed the FAFSA, the first day that you were able to do so. I need money, plain and simple. The cash that I get working at Five Guys doesn't even last me a week after I cash the check. Needless to say, I don't really have anything in savings. I'll be in debt for a long time, and I can't wait to take out all of those student loans.

It's a little troubling that a few of my friends have not even started filling out applications yet. Come on guys! We don't have that much time left! But yeah, come on now y'all. You need to fill them out, send them in, and get into a school. Me saying this might just have something to do with the fact that I love being in other people's business. Yeah, that might be it.

Incase you were interested, which you must be because you are reading my blog, I have applied for three schools so far. Pace University in New York City, Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, and Marymount Manhattan College in New York City as well. I am really hoping to get in obviously, but right now I just have to wait to be accepted to the school itself, not just the theatre department. Speaking of which, if I do not make it into either of those school's for theatre, then I will be majoring in Political Science. Even at Pace and Shenandoah, I hope to go for a Political Science minor. That huge workload is gonna RULE.

Enough about school, because I know that you'll be hearing about it in future posts. Let's talk about the election. This is a topic which I really like discussing, but I bore just about everyone except my girlfriend's (the loverly Corinne, get well baby!) mother. If you haven't registered to vote yet, please go and do so! 17 year olds, we are now given the opportunity to vote in the primary for our political party, so you should be taking advantage of that. What better way to support democracy then by taking part in the voting process? Fully use that right that our forefather's died for! I don't want to hear that your vote doesn't really matter, because if you think that then you are misguided. Please please, register! for the Republican Party...

I will be supporting:

Mike Huckabee: I really like this dude. He really came out of nowhere and earned a lot of respect and favor. Plus, Chuck Norris is supporting him, and we all know that Chuck doesn't endorse, he tells the world how it's gonna be. Huckabee is a former minister, former fat guy, and former nobody in the Republican race. He's really quickly propelled himself to the position of frontrunner, and he has a real chance at winning the party's nomination. He's an avid supporter of music education, and he has a lot of great domestic policies. Check him out, I think you'll like him.

Rudy Giuliani: Most of us remember Rudy as an inspirational guy during 9/11. If he showed that kind of leadership, I'd love to see how he can inspire the country further. He has a great record in NYC, cleaning up the city like he is going to clean up America. He has charisma and a sense of humor, appearing multiple times on SNL. He supports the war and has a really tough stance against terrorism, which really leads to me to think he can keep our country safe. He shares my views on immigration, and will crack down on illegal drugs. He is a good guy, so we'll see what happens. Chances are, he'll win the nomination of the party.

I'll be voting for one of the two, and I'll be deciding over the next few days. I reccomend that you chose a candidate and support them. Vote! If you feel so inclined, leave a comment saying who you plan to vote for.

That's it everyone. Thanks for reading what I hope will be the first of many bloggings. Until then, goodbye.
